Compugraphics acquires Image Technology, USA
On October 14th, 2011 Compugraphics purchased the assets of the Image Technology photomask manufacturing operation in Palo Alto, CA. This is an important step in the growing of Compugraphics' photomask business.
The acquisition will allow Compugraphics to expand their current product offering to existing customers and provide a growth platform in the large area mask arena.
It will provide the capability to manufacture plates up to 32" X 32" in the U.S.
This comes approximately one year after acquiring another mask operation with large area photomask capability - ML&C GmbH, located in Jena, Germany.
