For the second time in three years Compugraphics has been named manufacturing supplier of the year 2012 at the recent NMI awards in London. The company was selected in a survey of key staff across all UK chip-manufacturing sites.

Speaking at the event, David Boyd, CEO of UK electronics trade organisation NMI, said: “A strong supplier network that delivers a high quality service and continually improves is essential to the health of the UK’ s electronic industry. The survey highlighted that there we have an impressive network. With such strong feedback we were delighted to name Compugraphics NMI supplier of the year 2012.”
Brian Young, general manager of Compugraphics International (Glenrothes) said : “To win this award for the second time is a fantastic achievement for our employees who work tirelessly at improving our customers’ experience. This award is especially motivating just now as we strive to improve the competitive positions of our customers in a range of markets.”
The survey examined four key areas:
- Flexibility and responsiveness to customer requests
- Quality of product
- Business impact of product
- Continuous improvement practices
